In 2010, seventeen authors collaborated on this web dossier, each contributing their specific expertise to highlight the remarkable diversity of the collections within the Department of Anthropology and History at the RMCA. The dossier was created as part of a complete overhaul of the museum’s website. Due to the significant interest it garnered, these concise presentations have been retained in subsequent versions of the website. Each contribution focuses on a specific collection, with notes on its significance and interpretation, complemented by a limited selection of items with brief commentary. The texts were compiled in 2010 by Hein Vanhee, then Head of Collection Management, with translation and final editing led by Isabelle Gérard. This web dossier provides a lasting insight into the richness and diversity of the collections.
